Although the Sector Optics T3 Thermal Imager is built for economy, it's anything but cheap. The ultra compact T3 Thermal Imaging device is equipped with high-end features usually found on more expensive models. These features include on-board image processing enhancement modes, it functions using both manual and auto non-uniformity correction (NUC), a battery read-out, and auto power-save.

Additionally, the Sector Optics T3 has multiple display views that include white hot, black hot, night vision green, and color. Display resolution is 160x128 pixels, sensor range is 160×120 pixels using a FLIR Lepton 3, and the focus range is 2 yards to infinite. Sector says the T3 could be used to augment search operations.
